The Area Velocity Flow Measurement method is the most common method of all flow measurements. The AVFM 6.1 Area Velocity Flow Meter uses a submersible ultrasonic sensor measuring both the level and velocity of flowing liquid to calculate flow measurement in an open channel or pipe. The sensors are mounted either inside a pipe or at the bottom of a channel, and the sensor is built to resist fouling, corrosion, and abrasion. The AVFM 6.1 Area Velocity Flow Meter can be configured with the standard submerged velocity-level sensor or with submerged velocity in combination with a separate non-contacting ultrasonic level sensor, which is suitable for highly aerated fluids or those with a high concentration of suspended solids.                                FEATURES
  •  No flume or weir required – submersible ultrasonic sensor measures velocity and level simultaneously to calculate flow. No moving parts to wear, foul, or clog.
  •  The built-in 5-button keypad, intuitive menu, and large backlit LCD display make the AVFM 6.1 the most operator-friendly area-velocity flow meter on the market.
  •  Fast, simple, installation and set-up.
  •  Improved performance in a wider range of operating conditions.
  •  At a glance, view flow rate, velocity, level, totalizer, relay status, and important diagnostic information on the LCD display.
  •  Three isolated 4-20 mA outputs for flow rate, velocity, and level, and two relay outputs for pulse output or alarm.
  • 6.5 million point data logger for greater flexibility of data monitoring, control, and reporting.
  •  Min, Max, and Total Flow data from the last 365 days is available on the LCD display, or download directly to a USB for easy reporting.
  •  Monitors flow rate, volume total, run hours, and diagnostic information through only two wires with the optional Modbus RTU serial communication output.

Description                                                The TTFM 6.1 Transit-Time Flow Meter is ideal for treated clean water, raw water, cooling water, chemicals, hydraulic oil, low-conductivity water, water/glycol solutions, and diesel and fuel oils. The unit works by measuring the time-of-flight difference for ultrasonic sound pulses transmitted from one transducer to another. The time between transmitted and received signals is measured by the flow meter. Mount the TTFM 6.1 Transit-Time Flow Meter ultrasonic transducers on the outside of a pipe and use the built-in 5-button keypad to enter the pipe material, outer diameter, wall thickness, and fluid type. The TTFM 6.1 will display the correct transducer separation distance and mounting method.                                        Features
  • Three easy-to-select transducer options covering 15 mm to 1,200 mm nominal pipe diameters.
  • Transducers work on all common pipe materials.
  • Standard mounting hardware makes novice installers look like experts.
  • Transducers simply strap to the outside of the pipe, meaning no wear and tear, and no shutdown to install.
  • Easy-to-contact and knowledgeable staff is here to help you before, during, and after installation.
  • Analog, pulse, and serial communication options to meet your specific application needs.
  • Standard 26 million point data logger and free Logging Software make data management and reporting fast and easy.
  • All transducers are approved for use in hazardous locations.
